About Meg McComb
Meg McComb entered the insurance business in 1982 as an Account Executive for General Medical Services HMO. She obtained her insurance license and established McComb Insurance Services in 1984. Meg developed an association plan for Christian schools and churches in Southern California, and still serves many of these original clients.
Her expertise includes major medical insurance, health care reform compliance, dental/vision insurance, life insurance, long term care insurance, disability income insurance, and voluntary insurance products. Meg prides herself on delivering professional, personal service, and customizing individual and group clients' insuranceportfolios to suit their diverse needs.
Meg is active in the National Association of Health Underwriters, and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the National Media Relations Committee. She previously served on the executive board of the California chapter, as Vice-Chair of Legislation and VP of Communications. Meg advocates on behalf of consumers’ health care needs both in Sacramento and in Washington. She also serves as the Director of Government Affairs for the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce.
Meg has been happily married for 35 years to the same wonderful man. They reside in Huntington Beach, California, are active in their church and community, and enjoy spending time with their daughter, Megan.
Meg received a B.A. in Public Relations from the Ohio State University School of Journalism in 1978. Meg stays current on health insurance with ongoing education and most recently earned the PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) certification.
